A million THANK YOUS for visiting my fundraising page!
I am delighted to have been chosen to take part in CoppaFeel's 4-day charity trek along the ancient footpaths of the Oman desert from 4-10 November 2017. Giovanna Fletcher, Mario Falcone and the rest of the 58 strong-team will take on this epic adventure all in the name of boobs ( . ) ( . ) (sadly Greg Rutherford has had to drop out last minute due to an ankle injury).
Skin, bowel and breast cancer have affected my close friends and family. We have had to say goodbye too soon. CoppaFeel's mission is to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer to help with early detection and diagnosis, especially amongst young people. For every ache or pain I endure both in training and on the trek, it will not even come close to the pain cancer patients face everyday.
Penny or pound, every little helps. I am blessed at present to have good health and will do anything in my power to raise vital funds for such a worthwhile cause that I care passionately about.
Since January 2017, I have improved my fitness and am proud to say I completed the Leeds 10K on 9th July in precisely 1hr 13 mins.
I have also shed some weight with the amazingly supportive Slimming World group at Crosland Moor, Huddersfield and been awarded their Woman of the Year accolade!
Please help me make a difference.
